mental machinery

“Mental Machinery” is a collaborative, 50 x 10 foot mural located in Columbia College Chicago’s student center. Touching on innovation, community, and Chicago’s art scene, this mural uses water to symbolize creative energy flowing throughout the city. As Project Leader on the mural, I directed my classmates and dedicated extra time to painting in order to finish the project within a month. As part of Columbia’s Unleashed scholarship fundraiser, my classmates and I painted part of the mural live for an audience, answering questions and giving a peek behind-the-scenes at the mural process.
