Using acrylic and pen, this painting explores the dangerous nature of unhealthy relationships. Seated on the lap of a shadowed goat-man, an innocent-looking young woman looks towards a light with an expression of concern blanketing her face as she is held tight in his grip.
This piece was done for an exhibition created by my capstone illustration class at Columbia College Chicago. The exhibition, From the Shadows, took place at Harold Washington Library in December 2022 featuring pieces exploring the dark and macabre.
